It's truly an honor and a joy to introduce you to the world of KoAm's educational exchange!

KoAm Education Alliance offers truly unique and exciting exchange programs, providing American schools and host families the opportunity to expand their families by hosting a Korean student or teacher. The Korean students and teachers are allowed a first-hand experience at life in America and learn American culture and language as insiders, while the American schools and host families are exposed to a global perspective and worldview. Through these programs, the participants broaden their perspectives and experience the world as being ever closer, learning each other's cultural differences and similarities. The experience of this cultural exchange makes a difference at an individual level, but these interactions add up to impact the world much more than any political or diplomatic endeavor between nations.

In this global era, many Korean people are also recognizing the importance of connecting with the international community and English language. There’s no better way for them to do that than to come to the United States, become a member of our society and learn from the inside. To be accepted into the KoAm program, each Korean participant goes through many steps, and it is considered an honor to participate in the KoAm program as KoAm works hard to ensure the student would do well in this unique environment.

The success of the program requires extensive preparation and support for each participant. The KoAm staff work 7 days a week to provide the support and coordination to bridge the cultural, social and linguistic gap between the Korean and American participants. Our staff in America have the understanding of the cultures, languages, and educational systems of both countries, and in-depth knowledge of each individual and institution involved. KoAm's office in Korea also has dedicated staff who work to promote KoAm's programs and U.S. member schools, while recruiting and educating the Korean participants prior to the their arrival to the U.S. All of us at KoAm will make every effort to anticipate and respond to the needs of all participants in this wonderful exchange program.
